what is the difference between a lip gloss and lip balm?
Lip gloss add shine and luster to lips to make them seem fuller and brighter. Lip balms provide protection from chapping and cold weather and are more suitable for ski, snow and cold weather type promotions.
What is lip gloss made from?
Most lip gloss products use lanolin, petroleum or shea butter or beeswax to seal in moisture and prevent damage to the outer lip cell layers.
What is lip balm made from?
Lip balm is generally made from a wax like substance and often this can be beeswax or some other type of wax. Other ingredients can include: camphor, cetyl alcohol, lanolin, paraffin and petrolatum.
