What print positions are available?
We can print anywhere along the barrel on a wooden pencil. The imprint can be more than one position but on a wooden pencil cannot be a wraparound. We screen print mostly onto pencils but can also offer litho and engraved.
Do you provide an environmentally friendly pencil?
We can supply pencils made from reclaimed materials and organically farmed and sustainably managed forests. Please see our Eco collection for examples.
What is a graphite xHB rating?
Most of our pencils come with a black graphite insert or core, each with their own xHB two-scale rating. The first grading scale is a number. The higher the number, the harder the writing insert/core and the lighter the mark left on the paper. The second graphite grading scale is known as the HB scale, with the letter H used to indicate a hard pencil and the the letter B the blackness of the pencil mark left.
